I have been in the counseling field since 1994.

I received my M.Ed. from Southwest Texas State University, and have worked in several settings, from psychiatric hospital to community based mental health facilities, and finally in my private practice.

The focus of my practice is families, especially child and adolescent problems and issues.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association, the Texas Counseling Association, and CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/ Hyper-activity Disorder).

I am a past president of the Heart of Texas Counseling Association.

In addition to my private practice, I conduct seminars on ADHD for counseling professionals, and offer a free support group for adults with ADHD and for the parents or caregivers of children with ADHD.
